The Background:

Brightstar Corporation (a subsidiary of Softbank Group Corp.), is a U.S based privately held corporation founded in 1997. It is a USD 10 Billion company with 15000 enterprise customers in more than 100 countries and an association of 40,000+ mobile phone retailers.On an average, they process more than 80 million phones every year. 

The Problem: 

Brightstar approached Veridic to develop a retail trade-in solution & integrate it with insurance, swap, ERP, POS, etc. The end solution was designed for Telenor retail users to access a single solution to perform activities usually performed using multiple web applications. End user experience over new platform was most critical with backend integration to multiple processes.

The Challenges: 

Our team had the challenge to allow seamless access to retail customers. The application backend had to be  integrated with 3rd party services like insurance, swap and ERP systems for multiple devices. Additionally, we had to integrate multiple operations performed by through multiple applications in one solution was an ambiguous demand to handle. Creation of User interface with a focus on looks or style for various partners involved in buyback retail process.

The Solution: 

Our team of 20+ developers, designers, testers, solution architect & delivery head worked on this project. We integrated device insurance eligibility and ERP system requirements via API’s integration, our developers designed a separate section accomplishing the insurance swap requirements and integrations, all under one particular segment. In addition to this, an ERP system was added to scrutinize the insurance plan claimed for the device. Later on, keeping a better check on the requirements, we created a simpler & effective workflow in consultation with client team.

The Result: 

Brightstar and Telenor appreciated the final product and shared positive feedback of retail user experience with us. According to the given feedback, to perform the trade-in process, operators used to work on different applications but the final product proved to be a one-stop solution to accomplish the similar tasks in one-go.
